No heat, long drying times and early shutoff
Dryer runs but has no heat
A turning drum does not mean the heating system is working. Electric dryers may need heating element, thermostat or thermal fuse diagnosis; gas dryers have an ignition system to check. Heat-pump models have their own compressor, sensor and control components. Tell us whether the machine starts normally, whether the clothes get warm and whether any error appears.
