Why it happens: Failed evaporator fan motor, iced-over evaporator from a bad defrost heater, or a stuck damper between compartments.
How we fix it: We test the defrost circuit, replace the fan motor or defrost heater and confirm the damper opens.
Why it happens: Clogged drain pump, restricted air gap or a burned-out pump motor on GDT-series units.
How we fix it: We clear the drain, test the pump for continuity and swap the pump assembly if seized.
Why it happens: Faulty oven temperature sensor (RTD) or shorted bake element that opens the safety circuit.
How we fix it: We ohm-test the sensor and element, replace whichever fails spec, and re-calibrate the oven.
