Hold the right environment
Red zones should hold 55–58°F, whites 45–50°F. Humidity should stay between 50% and 70% — too dry and corks shrink, too wet and labels mold.
- Vacuum the bottom grille condenser every 6 months — wine units overheat faster than kitchen refrigerators.
- Replace the carbon filter annually to prevent flavor taint.
- Avoid stacking bottles tight against the rear wall; airflow is what holds humidity stable.
