Why it happens: The LG linear compressor and its inverter board are the subject of a well-known class-action settlement. Symptoms include a warm fridge, warm freezer and a compressor that runs but never cools.
How we fix it: We diagnose the sealed system, confirm compressor failure and replace the compressor plus inverter board with updated OEM parts, then evacuate and recharge the system.
Why it happens: Coins, hair pins or lint clog the drain pump filter, or the pump motor itself has failed.
How we fix it: We clear the coin trap, inspect the drain hose for kinks, and replace the drain pump if the impeller is damaged or the motor is seized.
Why it happens: Worn shock absorbers, a failed rotor position sensor (Hall sensor) or a broken direct-drive rotor bolt lets the drum wobble at spin-up.
